Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Borojalenga organized a five day PDC for class- VI students where students from two different schools namely- Puspa Devi Bhuwalka M.E. School, Rosekandy and Dorgakona Public School, Dorgakona along with VKV Borojalenga took part in it. PDC was from 16/05/2017 to 20/05/2017 where 48 students participated, out of which 30 were boys and 18 were girls.20 students participated from the two nearby schools.
All the activities were conducted in PDC as per the guideline given by the Jt Secretary, VKSPV.. Along with teachers a few renowned persons conducted a few sessions in this camp.
Sri Niharendu Dhar, Assistant Registrar, Assam University, Silchar took manthan on the topic team building and smt. Krishna Mala, a teacher from Borjalenga MV School, Borojalenga took manthan on the topic – Patriotism.
The teachers from different school took Boudhik Satras, Manthan, Yoga abhyas, Krida Yoga, Bhajan and so on.
In the shibir one of our karyakartas, Sri Jitandra and one teacher Su. Moon Moon Paul from VKV Badarpur were also present and took some of the Krida Yoga and Bhajan sessions.
In the samapan satra Dr.Paritosh Mandal,AssociateProfessor,Chemistry Department of Assam University was present as a guest and blessed our children with his valuable words. One more guest Sri Monilal Goala, Headmaster of Pushpa Devi Bhuwalka M.E School, Rosekandy was also present in the Samapan Satra.
