Vidyarambha Ceremony
![]() |
The Vidyarambha Ceremony was solemnised today at School, marking a significant milestone in a child's life — the formal initiation into the world of learning and knowledge. This traditional ritual symbolises the beginning of a child's educational journey, seeking the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati. It is a sacred moment where the child is introduced to letters, setting the foundation for a lifetime of education and discovery. The puja was gracefully performed by Smt. Krishna Roy, teacher from Borojalenga MV School, Borojalenga, invoking blessings for all the young learners stepping into this beautiful journey.

Matri Puja and Utsarga Samaroh

MATRI PUJA |
In keeping with the cherished tradition of honoring one’s parents as the first teachers, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Borojalenga, conducted the Matri Puja and Utsarga Samaroh ceremony for the Class X students appearing in the 2024–25 board examinations. This solemn and meaningful event provided an opportunity for the students to express gratitude and reverence to their parents. In a deeply emotional gesture, students washed the feet of their mother and father and performed a puja, acknowledging the countless sacrifices and nurturing care they received throughout their upbringing. Accompanied by Vedic chants, they pledged to uphold their duties towards their family, society, and the nation.
The ceremony also included seeking blessings from their parents and teachers by touching their feet, signifying humility and respect. The Utsarga Samaroh aimed to instill in students a sense of responsibility toward their motherland and inspire them to strive toward becoming capable and conscientious citizens. As a symbolic representation of their commitment, students lit lamps in their names, dedicating themselves to the service of society and signifying a future full of promise and light.
